Manx cycling star Mark Cavendish has been selected to represent Great Britain in this evening's Points Race at the World Track Championships at the Manchester Velodrome.
Originally, Mark was only going to compete with Bradley Wiggins in the Madison race, which takes place tomorrow afternoon.
However, injury forced Chris Newton to withdraw from the event giving Mark a further opportunity to secure a World title.
Great Britain have dominated the opening two days of competition winning four gold medals.
