
Kevin Loundes is the 2012 Isle of Man Cross-Country champion.
The Manx Harriers athlete won the event at Ballanette, Lonan, yesterday, which also doubled as the latest round of the Medis Cross-Country League.
Loundes finished the near-10km course 39 seconds ahead of Lloyd Taggart of Manx Fell Runners, who in turn was 1 minute 24 seconds ahead of the Northern Athletic Club's Alan Corlett.
The women's champion is MFR's Jackie Lee, who finished 10 seconds ahead of Manx Harriers' Gail Griffiths.
Third was Rebecca Wallace, also from the Manx Fell Runners club, who was 1 minute 23 seconds behind Griffiths.
