Champions Extend Margins

Canada Life Premier League Champions St. George's have underlined their status by moving five points clear at the top with one game still to play.

Their latest success was a 4-1 away win at Laxey on Wednesday evening - the sides meet again at the same venue on Sunday in a Hospital Cup quarter-final.

Division Two Champs St. John's are just one match away from completing a perfect season.

Their 8-0 win at home to Marown was their 23rd win from 23 games - the scorers were Andy Glover (4), Steven Glover (2), Callum Gallagher and Nick Hurt.

St. John's are 20 points clear of Union Mills and Ramsey Youth Centre who play each other in the final game of the season to determine who gains promotion to the Premier Division as runners-up.
