Cain replaces Sarah Astin who dropped out due to injury

Athletics star Christa Cain has been called up to Team Isle of Man's 2026 Commonwealth Games squad. 

She replaces Sarah Astin who dropped out due to injury over the weekend. 

It is not yet clear which event Cain will compete in with more details to be announced in due course. 

The 2026 Commonwealth Games will take place in Glasgow from 23 July to 2 August.

The Island athlete recently claimed victory in the England Masters W35 International 5K in Shrewsbury yesterday (12 July).
