Announcement for June 2017
Bennetts Classic TT has announced it's bringing back a legend to celebrate 50 years of speed in 2017.
Back in 1957, Glaswegian Bob McIntyre made history by riding a 100mph average lap on the Mountain Course for the first time.
Next June his legacy will be resurrected, in conjunction with modern-day legend Michael Dunlop and a one-off replica of the bike McIntyre rode - a four-cylinder Gilera 500.
It's part of a series of events to commemorate the half century anniversary, unveiled today at the TT stall from Motorcycle Live in Birmingham.
