Clitheroe take the spoils 

In Counties 3 ADM Lancs/Cheshire Vagabonds had no luck in their trip to Clitheroe where they lost 43-7. 

Vagas suffered two early injury blows when they lost Archie Benson and George Hotchkiss to injury in the early stages of the game and were 24-0 down at half time. 

They rallied in the second half and were rewarded with a consolation try from Brendan Kelly which Dan Bonwick converted.

Vagabonds Ladies off to flying start

Vagas won 57-5 away at Didsbury Toc H to get their Womens NC 2 North (West) campaign off to the best possible start. The returning Isla Curphey showed her class with four tries. There were two each for last season’s stars Bea O’Neill and Freya Crowe and one from Bliss Murtagh. Skipper Sammie Macdonald added six conversions to round off an excellent day at the office.

Big win for Ramsey

Ramsey picked up their first Manx Shield win of the season with a 71-0 defeat of Western Vikings at QE2. Jake Richmond led the way for Ramsey with four tries, Conor Cracknell bagged a hat trick, Matt Meechan touched down twice and there was a try each for the Kneale brothers Scott and Kieran and full back Dan Kelly who also kicked eight conversions.
