Colby and Laxey played out a seven-goal thriller at Glen Road on Sunday.

Mel McKnight scored a brace and Amy Speed was also on target for the Southerners in a 4-3 win that keeps them top of the Regency Travel Women's League.

Laxey had recovered from a 3-1 deficit at half-time to draw level with goals from Claire Sproule-Craine, Alex Honour and Kathryn Craine.

But the Miners' resolve was finally broken with 12 minutes to play as Kayleigh Callow notched home the winner.

It means the Arbory side have won four matches in a row for the first time since entering women's football.

Elsewhere Douglas Royal thrashed Gymns 20-1 at Ballafletcher - Holly Stephens, Donna Shimmin, Alannah Hall and Becci Plate all scoring at least three goals.

Corinthians also made it to double figures with an 11-0 victory over Douglas Athletic and Peel won 5-1 against Old Boys.
