Condition Update on Southern 100 Injuries

All three competitors injured during incidents at yesterday's racing at the Southern 100 meeting are said to be comfortable in Nobles Hospital.

Victor Gilmore crashed into a stone wall on the approach to Ballakeighan during the Solo Championship Race. He has a broken ankle and heel.

The Sidecar Championship Race was also red-flagged after an opening lap collision involving three outfits just before Cross Four-ways.

Two drivers were taken to hospital - John Holden has hand injuries and Greg Lambert is being kept in for observations.
