Competition to fill Island Games void
ConIFA is sending a representative to next year’s inter-island football tournament in Ynys Mon in a bid to recruit more members.
Ellan Vannin was expelled from the confederation in June following a row over an ineligible player at the World Football Cup in London in the summer.
The body organises football for states, cultures and ethnic groups not recognised by FIFA.
The inter-island tournament is being held because football is not one of the sports included at the Island Games in Gibraltar next year.
