Cyclists competes in mountain biking event
A Manx cyclist has finished in the top 10 of his event at the Gold Coast Commonwealth Games today.
Competing in the men's mountain biking this morning, Nick Corlett finished in the 10th place to finish with a time of 1 hour 26 minutes and 20 seconds.
He overcame early adversity in the race, with his bike chain falling off at the start, before he went on to complete the 7 laps and 4.5km of the Nerang Trails.
