Fourth title in five years for Rachael Franklin
Alan Corlett is Island cross country champion.
He won the championships hosted by Western AC and sponsored by Microgaming at Peel yesterday (Sunday).
It’s a hat-trick of championships for Alan who previously won in Lonan and Ramsey. He was a clear leader, which was just as well as he turned off the main six lap course a lap early and had to turn around again to start his final lap!
The event at QEII High School doubled up as the final round of the Isle of Man Cross-Country League.
Orran Smith and Gianni Epifani completed the top three.
Rachael Franklin pipped Elissa Morris to clinch her fourth women’s title in five years.
Gail Griffiths was third.
