Forty-five competitors take part at Meary Veg

The Isle of Man Clay Pigeon Shooting Club held its annual Christmas single-barrel DTL shoot at Meary Veg in Santon.

Forty-five competitors took part in dry but windy conditions.

Steven Craine finished the day as the high gun on 129 points.

Mark Riley's score of 126 was enough for him to take the A class ahead of Mike Walker (123) and the trio of John Moore, Neil Parsons and Alan Wade, who all finished on 114 to tie for third.

Jeff Corkill won the B class and Michael Cross C class.

The winner of the Phil Yewdall Cup for non-members was Tom Callister, who finished well ahead of Cesar Kermode and Ryan Wade.

Jake Keeling won the unclassified section, and Ted Davis took the honours in the junior section.
