Minutes silence/celebration to be held before matches
Tributes have been pouring in from the Island's cricket community after the loss of one of its long-standing players and volunteers.
Ian Tomlinson has sadly passed away.
He's been described as a true gentleman, generous and 'enormously influential' in the sport.
In his memory, a minute's silence or a minute celebration will be held before matches at the weekend.
There are also plans to honour his memory in the long term with either the MCC or Mersey Commonwealth Touring Side who come across every year that Tomo initiated back in 2003.
Local cricket enthusiast Ollie Helfich paid his respects:
Hockey: Bacchas Mens and Valkyrs Ladies among sides to progress from cup first round
Rugby: Douglas keep playoff hopes alive
Football: Castletown close in on Division 2 leaders
More men on the Island getting involved in netball
