Crowe brothers make winning return to racing

Manx sidecar duo claim back-to-back victories at Bishopscourt

Isle of Man sidecar duo, Ryan and Callum Crowe secured victory on their return to racing last weekend after a crash at this year's Isle of Man TT Races.

The brothers from Jurby took top spot in both three-wheeled races at the GO Classic Bike Festival Ireland at Bishopscourt which was held from 7-9 August.

It's the first time the pair have been in competitive action since an incident in sidecar qualifying at TT 2026 on Wednesday, 27 May in which both Ryan and Callum suffered multiple injuries which required treatment.

During last weekend's event, the Crowe brothers qualified second on the grid before storming to the chequered flag in race one on Saturday, 8 August, a full 13.371 seconds clear of nearest challengers, Dylan Lynch and Cillian Rogers who finished second ahead of Derek Lynch and Anto McDonnell in third.

That first race pace also saw Ryan and Callum set a new sidecar lap record around the 1.824-mile course at 87.740mph.

Things were much closer, however, in race two yesterday (9 August) - whilst Ryan and Callum once again emerged victorious, they were made to work for it as Dylan Lynch and Cillian Rogers only trailed at the finish by 0.677 seconds behind the Manxmen.

Derek Lynch and Anto McDonnell once again completed the podium in third spot.

Elsewhere and also involved in the sidecar races at the meeting were Isle of Man crew, Darren Hope and Lenny Bumfrey who claimed fifth place in race one before securing sixth position in race two.
