Cummins Joins Blackhorse Yamaha

Ramsey rider Conor Cummins has secured a deal to compete in next year's British Superstock Championship.

The Manx star has officially joined Team Blackhorse Yamaha to ride their RI machine.

The foundations for the deal were laid at the end of the 2008 series when the 22 year old raced for Ian Lougher's managed outfit in the final two rounds at Silverstone and Brands Hatch.

Conor posted encouraging ninth and twelfth place finishes.

Cummins was recently the fastest man at Macau before mechanical problems prevented him from at least a podium finish.

As previously announced, Conor will compete at the three international road race meetings - the T.T., North West 200 and Ulster Grand Prix for McAdoo Kawasaki.

McAdoo are supplying him with five new machines; two Superbikes, two Supersport 600s and a Superstock 1000cc bike for the campaign.

During a brief stint with the team this season, he managed two thirds and a fourth at the Southern 100 and was due to ride at the Ulster before torrential rain put paid to the event.
