Manxman part of star-studded lineup competing in Manchester
Manx cyclist, Matthew Bostock will begin his campaign at the 2026 Lloyds National Track Championships today (19 February).
The Island competitor is set to take on the men's endurance events at the meeting being held at the Manchester Velodrome from Thursday to Sunday this week (19-22 February).
He joins a star-studded list of riders expected to take part across the men's and women's races at a meeting which will feature Olympic, World and European champions past and present.
Session one of this year's championships is due to start at around 1.30pm this afternoon and comes shortly after Bostock confirmed his move to a new team earlier this month.
Among those joining Bostock in the men's endurance categories are current world champion, Josh Charlton - who'll be aiming to defend his individual pursuit jersey - as well as other expected contenders such as Will Tidball, Rhys Britton and Oliver Wood.
Elsewhere, the men's sprint races will feature world record holder and European champion, Matthew Richardson who will be the Guest of Honour at the latest Isle of Man Sports Awards later this month.
In the women's races, some of the major names to be involved include Lauren Bell - who's looking to defend her individual sprint, team sprint and keirin gold medals from 2025 - as well as Olympic gold medallist, newly-crowned European sprint champion and 200m world record holder, Emma Finucane; national champion, Anna Morris and reigning national points champion, Katie Archibald.
Separately earlier this month, Bostock announced a new chapter in his racing career as he confirmed his move to British Continental team, Rapha CC for the forthcoming campaign.
