Five riders represent Manx squad in Northumberland
Cycling Club Isle of Man (CC IoM) returned to action over the weekend with five riders taking on two highly-contested meetings in Northumberland.
Three men's competitors - Marcus Christie, Corrin Leeming and Callum Salisbury - represented the Manx squad at Sunday's Beaumont Trophy whilst the duo of Ruby Oakes and Sophie Smith were the women's athletes taking on the Curlew Cup race on the same day.
The team's highest finish across both races came in the form of Oakes managing 21st spot in the Curlew Cup - 30 seconds behind race winner Robyn Clay - whilst teammate Smith finished around 61 seconds further back in 28th.
Meanwhile in the Beaumont Trophy, Christie was the first CC IoM jersey to cross the line in 31st place, some 29 seconds behind race winner Oliver Rees of Sabgal-Anicolor Cycling Team.
Salisbury claimed 50th place with Leeming a non-finisher.
