Rider takes intermediate sprint prize in France
It was a successful weekend for Manx pro cyclist Sam Brand who secured a podium finish in Europe.
The Team Novo Nordisk rider claimed a podium place for the intermediate sprint at the La Roue Tourangelle in France on Sunday (24 March).
On social media he says the achievement means 'the absolute world' to him and that he is continuing to help drive change across the world.
The core principal of Brand's Team Novo Nordisk is to raise awareness of diabetes and to educate and empower others affected in some way by the condition.
In the overall classification for the race, Team Novo Nordisk's highest finisher was Matyas Kopecky in ninth.
