Manxman 'happy and honoured' to have support
Manx cyclist Tyler Hannay is set to receive some important charitable backing for the upcoming new season.
The Rayner Foundation - a cycling charity - has confirmed it will be offering support again to the Island-born competitor for the 2023 season.
The organisation aims to support young cyclists from the UK who want to race in Europe and encourage under-represented groups to engage and succeed in the sport.
In a post on social media, Hannay says he feels 'happy and honoured' to be supported by the foundation.
Hannay is the currently Isle of Man record holder for the 25-mile time trial.
He'll compete with Italian-based U23 cycling team, Mastromarco Sensi Nibali for the new season.
