
There is no alternative to Delhi for next year's Commonwealth Games.
That's the message from Federation President Michael Fennell at the start of a two day visit to the Isle of Man to look at our plans as host nation for the Youth Games in 2011.
In the past few months, reports have highlighted problems in the Indian capital, such as building work well behind schedule, tension between the Organising Committe and the Federation and competing nations expressing concerns about security.
Mr Fennell says the Indian Government is well aware of the situation, and is promising Delhi will be ready and as safe as possible:
