Player came third in European Tour
Disappointment for Manx professional golfer Tom Gandy at the first step of Qualifying School for the European Tour today.
He carded a third round 76 to be six over par in the competition which is 7 shots shy of a top 20 place required to move to the second stage in Spain.
The Rowany player did well to limit the damage after a disastrous opening two holes this afternoon when he dropped six shots.
The rest of his round included five birdies.
The final round at the Stoke by Nayland Course is tomorrow.
