New lap record tops 129mph
Michael Dunlop dominated the Supersport One race at the TT this morning, winning his second race of the week and his 17th overall.
Dean Harrison has been the other rider in top form so far at TT 2018, and he ran the Northern Irishman close in the early stages.
Dunlop took the race by the scruff of the neck on lap two, though.
He broke his five-year-old lap record for the class, becoming the first rider to top 129mph on a Supersport machine (129.197mph).
After the race, he told Manx Radio TT's Chris Kinley he thinks he can go even quicker on his 600cc machine: (play audio)
Harrison finished second, while Peter Hickman was third.
Manxman Conor Cummins had another good race, finishing fifth.
