
Douglas battled to just their second win of the season in South Lancashire/Cheshire Division Two when they beat Trentham 27-20 at Port-e-Chee.
Douglas were in control at half-time and led 15-3 thanks to tries from Conor McCaughan and Seb Jeanneau, plus a penalty and conversion from Tom Chamberlain.
They survived a second half fightback by Trentham and edged clear with further tries from Ben Dutnall and Simon Heggs, plus another Chamberlain conversion.
