Inaugural Crown Cup takes place in Guernsey this month
A Manx rugby club hopes an annual match against Guernsey Raiders will help the team become semi-professional.
Douglas Rugby Club will travel to Guernsey later this month for the inaugural Crown Cup.
The Raiders play national league rugby, something Douglas is hoping to achieve in the next three years.
Douglas's director of rugby Carl Murray hopes it will show the Manx players what they need to do to reach that goal:
Snooker: Malew stay top as Blinders remain unbeaten
Cricket: Crosby receives grant boost to upgrade facilities
Netball: Manx Rams undone against Malaysia
Late own goal earns FC Isle of Man draw at Euxton Villa
