Douglas kept their charge going in South Lancashire/Cheshire Division One with a 30-23 bonus point win over Winnington Park at Port-e-Chee.

The visitors kept themselves in the hunt with a try from Gary Dykes.
In the second half, Dan Williams pulled another back for Winnington Park and when Shaun Underdown crashed over, the Douglas lead was down to 20-15.
A late score from Goodall, plus another penalty and conversion from Snellgrove, gave Douglas the bonus point but a gutsy Winnington Park effort saw Tom Witter claim a late consolation and a last gasp penalty from Chris Heptinstall gave them a losing bonus point.

Tom Gascoyne picked up the try for Vagabonds with Mark McGreal kicking a penalty and a conversion.

Travelling with a somewhat makeshift side, the Northerners trained 36-0 at half-time but leaked a further 60 unanswered points in the second half, with the Medics running in an incredible 15 tries.
