Douglas recorded their third win of the season, beating Sefton 20-12 in a game switched to Mooragh Park due to a frozen pitch.
Mark Shortland opened the scoring for Douglas but James Corlett levelled it for Sefton shortly afterwards.
However, at the end of the first half, Douglas eased away from the visitors with tries from Andy Corris and Carl Markle-Ferns, plus a Tom Chamberlain conversion.
Brian Gardner pulled a late try back for Sefton, which was converted by Adam Marnell and left the tantalisingly close to Douglas at 17-12.
From the restart though, Sefton infringed and Chamberlain knocked over the penalty to make the game safe.
