Dunlop tests and considers sidecar TT venture

Will Ballymoney rider Michael Dunlop race on three wheels as well as two at TT 2012?

There's a real possibility the 22-year-old will make his sidecar debut next year after a successful test session at Jurby yesterday (Wednesday).

The 2009 Supersport and 2011 Superstock TT winner drove a Nick Crowe Honda machine in wet conditions.

His passenger for the session was 7-time TT winner Dan Sayle.

Sayle has won around the mountain course in the past two years with Klaus Klaffenbock, and previously with Dave Molyneux.

He says Dunlop has great potential and he would happily compete with him (listen to attenched audio file):

The last winner at the TT on both two and three wheels was Freddie Dixon in 1923.
