
The 100mph average lap has been achieved by an electric bike, albeit unofficially, at the TT.
Michael Rutter clocked 102.58mph on his Motoczysz during this afternoon's TT Zero practice lap.
But it wasn't all plain sailing, as he pushed the machine to its limit and ended up pushing it back up the return lane afterwards:
