Captain Dan bags 25 points
Linley were blown away 75-7 at the Mooragh Park with Ramsey securing a bonus point win to keep their third place in South Lancashire/Cheshire Division Three.
Early tries from Ethan Benjamin and James Wren (two) saw the hosts lead 21-0 inside 10 minutes with skipper Dan Bonwick converted all three.
Benjamin’s second, plus tries from Andy Cleator, Liam Sommer and Spud Watterson made the Ramsey lead 47-0.
George Swindles pulled one back for Linley and Ash Green converted to leave it 47-7 at the break.
Bonwick picked up a try for Ramsey early in the second half but some gritty Linley defending held the scoreboard steady until the closing seven minutes when Jarred Callister, Dave Keenan and Cleator all picked up late tries.
Man of the match was undoubtedly the Ramsey captain, Dan Bonwick, who bagged 25 personal points and kicked 10 out of 11 conversions.
