Entries open for 2022 Manx Grand Prix

New format this year includes five-race programme

Entries have now opened for the 2022 Manx Grand Prix.

A brand new five-race programme is being brought in for this year featuring both classic and modern machinery.

It will begin on Sunday, 21 August with a longer qualifying session, replacing the previous Saturday evening slot.

There will then be evening qualifying slots on the following Monday to Thursday (22-25 August) before the final qualifying on the afternoon of Friday, 26 August.

The first race will then take place on the Friday with the Lightweight Manx Grand Prix.

The next day (Saturday, 27 August) will see the Senior Classic Manx Grand Prix Race along with the Junior Manx Grand Prix.

Two more races will then make up the finale of the racing festival on Bank Holiday Monday, 29 August.

That day will open with the Senior Manx Grand Prix, with the Classic Superbike Manx Grand Prix then rounding off the schedule.

Entries are open until 11.59pm on Friday, 10 June.

Entry details and regulations can be found at www.manxgrandprix.org.
