Director of football praises Manx fanbase ahead of play-off final

FC Isle of Man's Director of Football has reiterated his praise and gratitude for the huge support the club has been receiving this season.

The Manx side is hoping to achieve promotion in it's first ever league campaign when they face New Mills at The Bowl on Saturday (16 April) in the NWCFL Div 1 South play-off final.

Home tickets for the tie sold out within a matter of hours after going on sale at 9pm on Monday night (11 April).

Home attendances have averaged 1,670 over the season - last Saturday (9 April) saw the club set an attendance record of 2,758 in their 3-0 victory over Wythenshawe Amateurs in the play-off semi-final.

Regardless of the outcome of the next pivotal match, Paul Jones says he's taking numerous positives from this inaugural season.

He adds the 'community camaraderie' around the team has been the biggest plus-point so far:
