McVey misses early penalty in close contest
FC Isle of Man were made to pay for missed chances as they went down 2-0 against AFC Liverpool at The Bowl last night (17 December).
Tom Croughan’s close-range finish after 26 minutes put the visitors ahead before they doubled their lead through an exquisite free-kick from William McCarthy ten minutes later.
It could’ve been different before that however as FC Isle of Man’s Jack McVey struck the post from the penalty spot after just 11 minutes.
Ravens’ interim manager, Paul Jones, says the team "more than matched" the Liverpool side in the first half:
Tennis: Douglas based club officially reopens indoor court

Football: Top two clash in Division 2
Hockey: Two Bacchas sides could wrap up titles this weekend
