FC Isle of Man suffer 2-0 defeat against FC St Helens

Ravens beaten in first away game of the season

FC Isle of Man's first away match of the new NWCFL Premier Division season ended in a 2-0 defeat to FC St Helens.

The home side took an early lead when Tom McNamara scored from a header in the ninth minute.

Dean Pinnington and Al Maitland both came close to levelling the scores either side of half time, but FC St Helens doubled their advantage with 71 minutes played as Ryan Sinnott charged down Ravens goalkeeper Adam Killey, collected the loose ball and slotted it home.

FC Isle of Man's next match is at the Bowl against Glossop North End on 9 August.
