Hosts hit five to keep 'The Ravens' bottom of the table
FC Isle of Man's recent league woes continued today as a second-half collapse saw them fall to a 5-0 defeat at Burscough in the NWCFL Premier Division.
After a goalless first 45, Burscough opened the scoring through Christian Mukoko just before the hour-mark on 58 minutes.
The hosts then grabbed two goals in two minutes in the 75th and 77th minute courtesy of Matty Hamilton and Will Lawson to make it three.
The late rout was then completed in the last ten minutes as Burscough earned a fourth and fifth through Callum Laird and Stephen Rigby to keep FC Isle of Man rooted to the foot of the table.
It's now just one win in nine for 'The Ravens' with just four points to their name ahead of a quick turnaround to face Cheadle Town away from home next Tuesday (9 September).
That contest at The Ground Up Solutions Stadium is due to get underway on the night at 7.45pm.
