
Ramsey resident Cal Crutchlow claimed fifth place in Saturday’s Dutch MotoGP.
After qualifying fifth on the grid, Crutchlow was hampered by a crash involving Alvaro Bautista on the first corner but recovered to finish in fifth place.
The crash also involved championship leader Jorge Lorenzo and Casey Stoner took full advantage to win the race and move level on points in the standings.
Stoner’s Honda team-mate Dani Pedrosa was second.
