Final stage success for Cavendish in Abu Dhabi

Moto GP triumph for Crutchlow

Manx Missile Mark Cavendish won the fourth and final stage of the Tour of Abu Dhabi to top the points standings.

It was his second stage victory, riding for the Dimension Data team, and ensured he finished nine points clear of Giacomo Nizzolo in the points category.

Estonian Tanel Kangert took the overall victory.

Meanwhile, Island resident Cal Crutchlow become the first British rider to win the Australian Grand Prix.

He secured his second MotoGP victory at Phillip Island yesterday (Sunday).

The 30 year-old is the first Brit to win more than one race in a season since the late Barry Sheene back in 1979.
