McVey, Baines and Doyle on the scoresheet for the Ravens
FC Isle of Man secured their first win of the new NWCFL Premier Division season, defeating Irlam 3-1.
The Ravens took the lead inside the opening 15 minutes in their first away game of the campaign, with captain Jack McVey heading home.
Sam Baines doubled the advantage before Sean Doyle came off the bench in the second half to extend the lead to 3-0, before the hosts pulled one back in the final 15 minutes.
FC Isle of Man's next match is on 10 August against Longridge Town at the Bowl.
