Isle of Man women won inaugural event in Jersey last year

The Cherry Godfrey Cup football tournament is set to return in 2026.

Following the inaugural event in Jersey last year, organisers have confirmed the latest edition of it will take place at Victoria Park in Guernsey from 26-27 June next year.

The Isle of Man women's team will go into the competition as defending champions having won the trophy during its debut in 2024.

Over two days of matches, the Cherry Godfrey Cup sees the women's national sides of Guernsey, Isle of Man, Jersey and Isle of Wight face off in a series of matches with all vying to lift the silverware.

Chief Executive of the Guernsey FA, Gary Roberts, says: "We are delighted that the Cherry Godfrey Cup 2026 will be held here at Victoria Park.

"This is a fantastic opportunity to showcase Guernsey’s new ‘Home of Football’ facility on an inter-island stage and to welcome players, supporters and officials from across the islands.

"We are proud to be part of a tournament that shines a light on women’s football and strengthens the sporting ties between our communities."

Full details on fixtures, tickets and other event information will be announced in due course.
