'Clash of the titans' in Women's Floodlit Cup also awaits

A battle of first against third in the Canada Life Men's Premier League is among a busy programme of fixtures penned in across Manx football this weekend.

Current top-flight leaders, Corinthians will be hoping to maintain their hold at the summit when they travel to take on an Onchan side which is currently on a run of three straight victories in all competitions.

Elsewhere, second-placed Peel - four points behind Corinthians but with two games in hand - host bottom-of-the-table Foxdale who're still searching for a first win of this campaign.

In Ardern & Druggan Ltd. Division 2, the two current title contenders - Castletown and Colby - will be hoping to recover from respective exits in the preliminary round of the GH Corlett Woods Cup last week.

Both face the same opponents which knocked them out of that competition as Castletown head to St George's and Colby face a second trip in seven days to Marown.

On Sunday, there's a 'clash of the titans' in women's football as Corinthians and Peel face off in the second of a double-header in the Canada Life Women's Floodlit Cup.

The other cup contest will see winless Union Mills face Onchan with both games taking place at The Bowl in Douglas.
