First women's clashes of 2026 also on the agenda
After cup competition took the spotlight to start the year, the focus shifts again to league action in Manx football this weekend.
Tomorrow (10 January) promises a full programme of matches across the senior men's divisions whilst the day after (11 January) will see women's football get underway for the first time in 2026.
On Saturday, Railway Cup champions, Corinthians will be looking to maintain their four-point gap at the top of the Canada Life Men's Premier League when they travel to Douglas High School Old Boys (DHSOB.).
Elsewhere, Corinthians' nearest challengers, Peel host Union Mills with the westerners still having two games in hand on the league leaders.
There's also a potential important battle at the bottom on the cards as Braddan - two points above the drop zone - travel to winless Foxdale who are six points from safety at the foot of the standings.
In Ardern & Druggan Ltd. Division 2, the battle continues at the summit between southern rivals Castletown and Colby who are separated by just two points in first and second respectively.
Castletown will be on the road at Marown whilst Colby have an away task at St George's.
Meanwhile, on Sunday (11 January), two more fixtures are on the agenda at The Bowl in Douglas in the Canada Life Women's Floodlit Cup.
There's a southern derby as Malew take on Rushen United before Peel have the chance to move clear at the top of the table when they face a Union Mills side still looking for their first victory of the campaign.
