Manxman retired as a player last month
Manx footballer, Liam Doyle, has secured a senior role in the game at a US club following his on-pitch retirement.
Alabama-based Huntsville City FC has confirmed Doyle is taking up the position of Director of Soccer Operations within the club.
Following the announcement, Doyle took to social media to say he feels 'grateful and excited for the new opportunity'.
Last month, Doyle announced his retirement from professional football as a player after making over 170 pro appearances after moving to the USA in 2012.
Huntsville City is currently due to start its first season in the MLS Next Pro competition in Spring 2023, playing out of the Joe Davis Stadium
