Club claims first combi trophy for nearly 30 years
Pulrose United have won this season's Ardern & Druggan Ltd. Combination Two title after victory during last night's (6 May) latest midweek Isle of Man football action.
The Douglas-based side secured a 4-2 home win over Castletown to see the club claim its first combination league trophy in 26 years.
It follows a fiercely contested title race in the division throughout the season in which Pulrose United managed to hold off challenges from Douglas Athletic and Ramsey Youth Centre & Old Boys (Rycob.).
The newly-crowned winners are now six points clear of Douglas Athletic in second who have one match still to play.
Elsewhere during Wednesday evening, Ramsey spirits weren't dampened with a defeat to Rushen United as they northerners were presented with the Canada Life Combination One trophy they guaranteed themselves last week.
Ramsey finish the campaign just one point clear of Peel and Corinthians in second and third respectively.
The football fixtures continue tonight (7 May) as attention turns predominantly to the semi-finals of the Canada Life Women's FA Cup and the preliminary round of the 2026 Cowell Cup for Under-21 sides.
