Castletown with chance to close gap on Colby in Division 2

The team propping up the Canada Life Men's Premier League table hosts the league leaders during this weekend's upcoming Isle of Man football action.

Currently ten points from safety but with a number of games in hand, Foxdale will welcome a Corinthians side hoping to maintain a five-point gap at the summit during Saturday's ties (28 March).

Continuing to lurk behind Corinthians though are Peel in second - who have three games in hand on their title rivals - with the westerners targeting maximum points at home to St John's United tomorrow.

Elsewhere, Ardern & Druggan Ltd. Division 2, frontrunners, Colby are on a rest week, which will hand Castletown the chance to move to within seven points of their southern rivals on Saturday when they head to Malew.

On Sunday (29 March), attention in women's football on Island turns to the Canada Life Women's FA Cup with a double-header of first-round ties on the cards.

Those clashes will see Onchan welcome current Canada Life Women's League leaders, Peel whilst defending FA Cup champions, Corinthians are on the road at Union Mills.
