Tyco Suzuki boss Philip Neal has heaped praise on former rider Adrian Archibald who announced his retirement yesterday.
He says the three-time T.T. winner didn't shout about his achievements, due to his very reserved nature, and probably hasn't received the full recognition he deserves as a result.
Archibald had his most successful meeting around the Mountain Course when he rode for the Northern Ireland outfit in 2003.
It was in very trying circumstances following the death of team-mate David Jefferies during the Thursday afternoon practice session.
Philip Neal says Archibald showed his mettle and pedigree by then winning both the Formula One and Senior races:-
Athletics: Top-five for Cain at Swansea Half Marathon
Jamie Cringle 'a couple of steps closer in the right direction' after TT crash
Football: Castletown and 'Youthie' into Paul Henry Gold Cup final
