Michael deny Governors again
Foxdale kept their promotion push on track in JCK Division Two on Saturday.
They secured an impressive 5-0 win at Union Mills, courtesy of Charlie Harrison (two), Jay Chatwood (two) and Matthew Moffatt.
For the second week in a row, Governors Athletic and Michael played out a thriller.
This time it was honours even as Michael, who fought back from 4-1 down a week ago to knock Governors out of the Woods Cup, again overturned a deficit.
Two goals from regular marksman Daniel Thirwell just after the hour put the home side in the driving seat.
However, Kieran Quinn quickly reduced the arrears before a late penalty from Ryan Brew earned a point, the spot-kick conceded by Brian Kelly who was given his marching orders for a professional foul.
