Mark Parrett could need 'several specialized treatments'
A fundraiser has been launched hoping to raise money to help the recovery of TT competitor, Mark Parrett.
The competitor was struck by a bird during the Superstock TT Race 2 on Friday, 6 June.
He was taken to Noble's Hospital with reported arm injuries before being discharged the same day.
Those behind the GoFundMe campaign set up to assist Parrett says the rider suffered 'a displaced fracture of the radius bone in his left arm' and his recovery will require 'several specialised treatments not typically available through the NHS.'
As a result, there's aims to generate £5,000 and as of today (12 June) just over £1,500 has been raised.
