
Rowany golfer Tom Gandy has narrowly missed out on qualifying for The Open Championship at Royal Liverpool.
Playing at the Glasgow Golf Club Gailes Links, he missed out on teeing-off at Hoylake next Thursday by two strokes.
Tom carded rounds of 67 and 74 to be one under par and finished as the leading amateur in the field in 5th place from the 72 players competing for just three places at The Open.
