
Aalin and Kirsten George have both been beaten in the quarter-finals at the World Archery European Junior Cup in Slovenia.
Competing in the Individual Compound Cadet Women competition, both achieved a new British record for the class.
Aalin beat Italian Althea Rota 139-136 in the last 16 to progress while Kirsten saw off the challenge of the one remaining Slovenian archer 139-137.
Kirsten was beaten by the number one seed Maja Orlic from Croatia in the last 8 145-139 while Aalin lost 141-138 to the Ukrainian number 4 seed.
