Manx snowboardcrosser Zoe Gillings will lose the chance for some competitive action ahead of next month's Winter Olympics in Russia.
Due to the lack of snow to build a decent World Cup course, next weekend's round at Veysonnaz in Switzerland has been postponed.
It will probably not be rearranged until after Sochi in March.
Zoe is in action this weekend at the latest World Cup competition which takes place at Vallnord-Arcalis in Andorra.
