Top club hammer bottom team

Andy Glover lived up to his billing as the top marksman in JCK Division Two on Saturday.

He struck eight against his former club as leaders Braddan hammered Malew and maintained their 100 per cent record.

Strike partner Conor Dempsey (two), Lee Curer and Joe Andrews joined him on the scoresheet in a 12-0 rout.

Foxdale fared nearly as well to stay second after a dominant second half showing.

Aaron Costain was their hero with six goals in their 11-3 success at Governor’s Athletic.

Kevin Pulman (two), Jay Chatwood (two) and Scott Kermeen were also on target for the Billy Goat Park men.

Douglas Royal built on their success against Marown a week earlier with a 6-0 triumph at Michael United.

There were three own goals with Andrew Lancaster (two) and John Quirk adding to the Michael misery.

A Nathan Cooil double and a Dan McLaughlin goal fired Castletown to a 3-2 home success over battling Onchan.

Pulrose moved three points clear of Gymns after Dale Walker and Darren Flanagan scored the goals in a 2-1 win at Groves Road.
